ZAND-AIR™ air purification systems use a patented process to affix TiO2 to a solid substrate so it interacts with UVC radiation at 253.7 nm. The resulting Photo-Catalytic Oxidization is the technology used in the ZAND-AIR™ PCOC3 air purification systems. While the photo-catalytic process is very fast, the number of individual photocatalytic actions occurring in the PCO chamber are multiple and very complex. The efficiency of this process is therefore increased by placing three such PCO chambers sequentially in a single frame, thus increasing the ‘dwelling time’ of the airstream through the ZAND-AIR™ PCOC3 air purification systems. This increased dwelling time for the UV light interaction with the photocatalysts multiplies the decomposition of VOCs and pathogens.

The zIVF-AIRe™ 100C air purification systems consist of an air inlet grill with safety locks, activated carbon filter, which adsorbs toxic chemicals and gases, a back position hospital grade HEPA filter individually tested by the supplier and certified to remove particles of 0.3 um with not less than 99.97% efficiency by an approved aerosol, and a Photo-catalytic oxidation chamber, with High output UVC lamp, and High efficiency low noise reversed curved motorized impeller with sealed ball bearings. The zIVF-AIRe™ 100C unit is incased in a high impact ABS plastic with no off-gassing. These air purification systems are light weight and portable.

A second Activated Carbon Filter increases the dwell time providing a higher adsorption of VOCs and CACs. Photo-catalytic oxidation significantly reduces CACs and VOCs and eliminates odors from the air. The ZAND-AIR™ 100C unit is incased in a high impact ABS plastic with no off-gassing. The ZAND-AIR™100C air purification systems are lightweight and portable.
