ZAND-AIR PCOC™3 and zIVF-AIRe™ 100C Installations

Two types of Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) Air Purification systems are available, the portable units, such as the zIVF-AIRe™100C, as well as the industrial unit, the ZAND-AIR PCOC™3.

Installations

The zIVF-AIRe™100C, which can be plugged into any electrical wall outlet as pictured here,  is available in 110V as well as 220V version, thus can be used in all countries worldwide.  These units have both a HEPA filter and an activated charcoal filter in addition to the PCO chamber. They can be placed for ‘air polishing’ conveniently near the ICSI station and positioned on the floor, elevated on cabinets, or wall-mounted.  More than 2000 units have been sold worldwide.

Installation ZAND-AIR PCOC TM3

The industrial unit, the ZAND-AIR PCOC™3 has been developed in cooperation with Dr. David Mortimer, as documented in the attached ALPHA Newsletter# 36 of August 2007 The units are now fitted with the space for an optional Potassium Permanganate Filter (PPF) to reduce and adsorb formaldehyde,  and are installed in many facilities, either into HVAC systems, or AHU units, or into the AC ducting.  Here the Mt. Sinai IVF facility in Toronto, ON, has four (4) airtight parallel units installed, two (2) units side by side and another two (2) units atop those below. The PCOC3 unit is accessible from both sides of the HVAC unit for filter and lamp exchange

With access in front to the filter and chamber slots with sufficient space in front of the frame to perform this maintenance service: exchange of UVC light every 12 months, and the filters, if installed, every 6 months. The frame can have left or right side access, simply by rotation 180º around its flow axis.
